Azerbaijan e visa: More information

Most countries require foreign travellers to get a visa, permit or travel authorisation to enter the country. These documents can be requested online or by visiting an embassy or consulate.

To travel for tourism purposes, you only need to apply and be approved for an Azerbaijan visa.

The Azerbaijan eVisa is an electronic visa that is valid for 90 days, and allows for a stay in the country of 30 days. This eVisa is a single-entry visa and allows for several travel purposes such as tourism, business, sport, medical, cultural, humanitarian, educational and scientific work. This eVisa does not give you permission to work, live or study in the country.

Please note that each government reserves the right to deny entry to the country even if the visa has been approved. Each traveller is assessed individually upon arrival by the immigration officer at the relevant airport, port or border. Denying entry only typically happens if you have omitted information, or lied about your personal details intentionally and could be a threat to security or national interests.
