Citizens of Singapore and China can now travel visa-free
by Pilar Dujan | January 26, 2024Starting on February 9th, 2024, citizens of Singapore and China can travel between the two countries without having to apply for a visa.
This reciprocal visa exemption will be in place for those staying for 30 days or less. It will allow Singaporean and Chinese citizens to travel for tourism, business and family/friends visits.
If a Chinese citizen wishes to stay in Singapore for more than 30 days, then they will need to ask for an extension of stay, but it will not be necessary to apply for the Singapore visa before traveling.

This was not the only recent visa news for traveling to China. The government recently announced other arrangements for Switzerland passport holders, who can also travel visa-free. Moreover, citizens of Italy, Spain, France, Germany and the Netherlands can stay in China for up to 15 days without a visa.
