There are 3 types of tourist visas available online to travel to Kenya. You will need the following documentation which can vary depending on your exact choice of visa:

For the evisa Kenya or the East African visa you will need:

- A copy of your valid passport
- A recent photograph
- A copy of your hotel reservation in Kenya
- A copy of your air ticket
- An email address to receive the visa
- A bank card to pay

For the transit visa to Kenya, in addition to the above documents, you must also submit your travel itinerary.

If any of these elements are missing, your application for the Kenya visa will be saved so that you can complete at a later stage.

Kenya eVisas are online visas that can be processed from any electronic device, without the need to go to an embassy. These applications have been simplified in Visagov to assist the user with visa processing, and reduce the possibility of rejection due to errors in the form.

Once you receive your approved evisa Kenya, you must print it out and present it together with your passport upon arrival in the airport in Kenya.
