New Zealand ETA (NZeTA): More information
Tourists travelling to New Zealand must apply for a travel permit or New Zealand e visa (NZeTA) before entering the country.
New Zealand introduced the NZeTA (New Zealand electronic Travel Authorization) system, which avoids having to go to an embassy to get a visa. Most nationalities are eligible for this online application process.
This travel authorisation is valid for 2 years, during which you can travel to the country as many times as you like, with a maximum continuous stay of 90 days each time. It is similar to a tourist visa since it is valid for tourism, and transit.
Keep in mind that the New Zealand NZeTA is a tourist visa, if you want to work, live, or study in the country, you will have to go to an embassy to apply for the corresponding visa.
