Oman evisa: More information

The only foreign nationals who are exempt from applying for an Oman eVisa are the citizens of the countries belonging to the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council). They are: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman itself.

All other foreign citizens wishing to travel to Oman must apply for a visa, or electronic travel authorisation (online visa), before entering its territory.

Most citizens can apply online for a Sultanate of Oman visa, which will allow them to stay in the country for 10 or 30 days, depending on the chosen visa. It is also possible to apply for a one-year multiple-entry visa, which will allow you to travel to the country several times during its validity.

Upon arrival in Oman, each traveller will be assessed individually by the immigration officer at the relevant airport, port or border. These officers have the power to refuse entry to any person who may represent a threat to national security or interests.
