Requirements for Guinea Visa

Obtaining an online Guinea visa before travelling is easy. If the reason for entry into the country is for tourism, transbordement or transit, you must prepare the following documentation:

- A valid passport
- A passport-size photograph on a white background
- Return ticket
- A yellow fever vaccination certificate
- An email address to receive the visa
- A bank card to make the payment
- Covid-19 vaccination certificate

For the transit and transbordement visa, in addition to this documentation, you must present the flight ticket from your final destination.

If you are missing any of these elements, your application will be saved so that you can complete it at a later stage.

The application form for the Guinea visa is processed online without having to make a journey to the embassy. The Guinea visa online application on Visagov is simplified to assist the user with the processing of the visa and reduce the possibility of error, which could otherwise result in a visa refusal.

Once you receive your approved Guinea visa, you must print it out and submit it along with the other documentation used for processing. Bring all the documentation, along with your passport, when you travel to Guinea.

Guinea e Visa: More information

Guinea, like most countries, requires foreigners to have a valid visa before arriving in its territory. Fortunately, this visa can be arranged online, avoiding having to go to the embassy. The Guinea eVisa is valid for 90 days, and allows a single entry for tourism or business purposes.

In the case of the transit or transbordement eVisa, you will be allowed to stay in Guinea for a maximum of 3 days, regardless of whether you arrive by plane or by boat.

The only countries that are exempt from applying for a visa are African countries that are neighbours of Guinea. Other foreign nationalities cannot enter the country without a valid visa.

However, the government reserves the right of admission, so if you lie when filling out the application, or omit information that could represent a threat to the country, they can deny entry, even if the visa has been approved.
